I am broadly interested in paleocommunity change through time (generally Neoproterozoic), including reconstruction of ancient trophic systems and the effects of Snowball glaciation events upon diversity, abundance and community composition. My two current projects focus on the permineralized microfossils of the Doushantuo formation and an analysis of the effects of Marinoan and Sturtian glacial cycles on community structure as preserved in shale successions from Svalbard and Newfoundland.
