Stratigraphy

 
 

Stratigraphic studies at UCSB cover diverse areas. These include the stratigraphy of active margins and sedimentary basins, Proterozoic and early Paleozoic stratigraphy of southwestern North America, Neoproterozoic bio- and chemostratigraphy, and using vertebrate paleontology to refine the stratigraphy of the Andes.
