The nail line is located 5 km northwest of San Juan Bautista along Cannon
Road at its intersection with Anzar Road.
Comments:
The array was established by Robert Burford (USGS) and UCSB in October 1989
a few days after the Loma Prieta earthquake to detect creep northwest of
San Juan Bautista. None, in the form of road cracks, has been observed at
the site since the array was est ablished, raising some suspicion that the
active trace of the fault is not crossed by the line.
