Trespass Permission: None required, although the west half of the
line, west of the paved road, is on private property overwatched by the Los
Angeles County Fire Department.
Directions: From San Fernando proceed ESE about 7 miles on I-210
to the Sunland Avenue exit, thence eastward about 2 miles to Oro Vista Avenue,
thence north on Oro Vista Avenue about 1 mile to a point where Oro Vista
Avenue meets Tujunga Wash and turns abruptly northe ast to follow the wash.
The leveling line crosses Oro Vista Avenue at the abrupt bend. Half of the
line is WSW of the bend; half is ENE of the bend.
Comments: This line was established across the Sierra Madre frontal fault
at the mouth of Big Tujunga Wash.
Results: The leveling line was established and surveyed without incident
on 23 August 1994.
