Directions: From the town of Yucca Valley, drive about 30 miles north and northwest on State Highway 247 to Bessemer Mine Road. Turn right and proceed about 13 miles northeast to an unsigned dirt road that leads to Galway Dry Lake. Turn right and proceed about two m iles to the fault. The array straddles the road and the fault.

Comments: This array was established across the surface rupture of the 28 June 1992 Landers earthquake on the Emerson fault where that fault crosses the road to Galway Lake. All bench marks are Class B rod marks.

Results: Only 2 mm of right lateral afterslip have been measured at this site, where the coseismic slip was about 6 m, between 1 July and 12 December 1992 (Sylvester, 1993).
