Jerry Mitrovica, Professor of Geophysics at Harvard University, will give will give three talks from December 2-5 at UCSB. His first talk on Monday, December 2 at 3:30 PM at Life Sciences Building Room 1001 is entitled "The Sea Level Fingerprints of (Ancient and Modern) Ice Sheet Collapse." The second talk on Tuesday December 3 at 4:00 PM will be held in Webb Hall 1100 and is entitled "Vertical Plate Tectonics." The final lecture on Thursday December 5 at 2:00 PM also in Webb Hall 1100 is the Crowell Distinguished Lecture and is entitled "Earth Rotation from Archean to Anthropocene."
