It is with great pleasure that we announce that Prof. Alex Simms has been awarded tenure here at UCSB. Alex's research interests focus on sedimentary response to sea-level, climate, and tectonic changes. He is actively purusing NSF-funded research projects in Antarctica, texas and southern California.
