Donations from alumni and
friends of the department have been vital in maintaining our cherished
field program for our undergraduate students, providing scholarships
for our most outstanding undergraduate and graduate students, and
assisting students in financial need, as well as department needs
that can’t be met by our base budget.
You can give to the department and specify how you would like
your funds used, or allow the department to use your gift where
needed most.
Many employers provide matching contributions—-some up
to a three-to-one match! Check with your employer if you are
unsure.
Gifts of $1,000 or more will qualify you as a member of the Chancellor's
Council, even if a portion of that gift was a match by your employer.
Donations are tax deductible.
You can also pledge via email to Ralph Archuleta, the Department
Chair, who will personally follow up on your request.
Many other giving opportunities also exist, such as planned gift
arrangements that could be beneficial to both you and the Department.
Ralph Archuleta would be happy to discuss such possibilities
with you at your convenience: (805)893-8441.
