A surprising number of people seem to use "old" Army Pass, which was originally used by sheepherders. I cannot imagine a whole flock of sheep going up or down this pass. The Army was finally called in to stop the sheepherders from bringing sheep into Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.
