The south end has a cover of redwood bark chips until I decide what to do more permanently. The next section needing attention is that shaded by four citrus tress, that is alongside the walkway of irregular-shaped stones. The existing wall is also broken concrete sidewalk. I did not change any of this section beyond digging out some of the poor quality soil and replacing it with good topsoil.
