I didn't like the sharp little turns that led into the hairpin turn, so I decided to put in a couple sections of straight track before the actual turn. That adjustmenat required a realignment of part of the track. In this view, the bared bricks are where the old alignment was. The stub turnout will be for a branch that will go across the lawn in front of the gate and down the side yard.
